Casper's CEO, Emilie Arel, today acknowledged the need for a shift from a lifestyle brand to a focused mattress retailer, signaling a return to financial prudence. As she says, “We’re not in the business of not making money anymore. VC money is not falling from the ceiling anymore, we need to be very specific on what we’re working on.
