Freddie Mac Announces Holiday Eviction Moratorium; Confirms Natural Disaster Relief Policies

/EINPresswire.com/ -- MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwired - Dec 11, 2017) - Freddie Mac (OTCQB: FMCC) announced today a nationwide suspension of eviction lock-outs between Dec. 18, 2017 and Jan. 2, 2018. The moratorium applies to all foreclosed, occupied homes owned by Freddie Mac. The company also confirmed it has suspended all foreclosure sales in eligible disaster areas impacted by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
