A fight over who should get the most access to some hunting permits in Kansas has made its way to the statehouse.

Now, lawmakers are taking sides on whether to limit certain out-of-state hunters to just three days a week. Opponents of the plan say, as it stands now, it could cost Kansans millions in tourism dollars.

The fight could also end up pitting the Kansas House and Senate against each other. Some House members wanted to wait until next year to tackle the idea, but at least one senator wasn't willing to wait.

FOX Kansas News reporter Nick Nelson reached out to both sides to figure out what's going on, and he breaks down that fight in the video posted above.
